Christoph Waltz signed this 12x18 photo from Inglourious Basterds, the 2009 Quentin Tarantino film that opens with fifteen minutes of an SS colonel politely interrogating a French dairy farmer. Waltz plays Hans Landa in four languages, and the part won him the Academy Award for supporting actor after a career spent almost entirely in German-language television. Landa moves through the film as the most relaxed person in every room he enters, which is what makes him frightening. Perfect for fans of Tarantino's work.
Tarantino has said he considered shelving the script until he found an actor who could carry Landa, which happened only weeks before production started. The farmhouse opening and the strudel scene are the two most quoted pieces of the film. Printed at 12x18, larger than a standard photo.
