Ian McKellen signed this Gandalf Funko Pop figure, number 443, and inscribed it "Gandalf". McKellen played the wizard across all six of Peter Jackson's Middle-earth films, from the fireworks cart in the Shire to the bridge of Khazad-dum. The first film brought him an Academy Award nomination for supporting actor. Gandalf leads the Fellowship out of Rivendell and falls at the bridge before the first film ends. Essential for Lord of the Rings collectors.

Gandalf the Grey returns as Gandalf the White partway through the trilogy, and McKellen played both. He came back for all three Hobbit films a decade later. Inscribed figures are less common than a plain signature.
