These films hold their shots instead of cutting, and this signed 11x14 John Wick photo comes from Keanu Reeves's work in them. Fights run for minutes at a time in wide frames, with the camera far enough back to see the whole body, a deliberate reaction against the handheld style dominating action films at the time. Reeves stays visible throughout. The camera work borrows from Hong Kong action rather than American. Essential for action collectors.
That approach changed how studio action has been shot in the decade since. Most of the series' best-known sequences run without a single cut away from the performer. This piece carries a Beckett Letter of Authenticity alongside the hologram.
